| Welcome to West Norfolk & King's Lynn Bridge Club |
West Norfolk and King's Lynn Bridge Club was formed in December 1945 and is affiliated to the English Bridge Union and the Norfolk Contract Bridge Association. We meet on Monday and Thursday evenings at the South Wootton Village Hall, a bright modern building which can comfortably fit up to 15 tables.
We welcome visitors and strive to provide friendly and relaxed evenings when players compete fairly and courteously. We support fully the "Best Behaviour at Bridge" code introduced by the English Bridge Union which is set out on the General Information page.

| MARGARET BARRETT |
It is with great sadness that we learned Margaret has passed away after a long illness. A member for many years, she will be remembered very fondly as a charming lady.
The funeral is to take place at King's Lynn Crematorium at 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday 25 June and members are invited to join the family at the Sandboy Public House afterwards. They would naturally like to have an idea of numbers so if you do intend to join them perhaps you will advise Tony Warner as soon as possible. |

The New Partner competition has just been completed and the trophy goes to Trish Foster.
Congratulations to them all.

| CHAIRMAN'S NIGHT |
A good time was had by all at the annual Chairman's Night. Our thanks are due to Chairperson Val MacKenzie for supplying some splendid 'nibbles' and to those who helped in the serving of them.
The evening's bridge was won by Peter Ison and Michael Whiting who finished just a single matchpoint ahead of Sheila and Tony Warner.
