Welcome to West Norfolk & King's Lynn Bridge Club
Welcome to West Norfolk & King's Lynn Bridge Club

West Norfolk and King's Lynn Bridge Club was formed in December 1945 and is affiliated to the English Bridge Union and the Norfolk Contract Bridge Association. We meet on Monday and Thursday evenings at the South Wootton Village Hall, a bright modern building which can comfortably fit up to 15 tables.

We welcome visitors and strive to provide friendly and relaxed evenings when players compete fairly and courteously. We support fully the "Best Behaviour at Bridge" code introduced by the English Bridge Union which is set out on the General Information page.

CANCELLED BRIDGE DATES

Please note that there will be no bridge on the Thursday evenings of 5 May and 23 June as the hall will be required as a polling station.

Diaper Trophies

Many congratulations go to David Loasby and Michael Whiting on winning the club Pairs Championship for the George Diaper Trophies. Their results in the six heats were stunning having won five of them and finishing with a record average score of 65.63%.

Unfortunately, they are unable to take part in the County Pairs  Championship for the EDP/John Harrison Trophy. The club's three qualifing pairs for this competition will be Peter Ison and Jane Aylett, Peter Clemens and Brian Barrett and Trish Foster and Tony Graham. The reserve pair are Tam Payne and Howard Marshall
