West Norfolk and King's Lynn Bridge Club was formed in December 1945 and is affiliated to the English Bridge Union and the Norfolk Contract Bridge Association. We meet on Monday and Thursday evenings at the South Wootton Village Hall, a bright modern building which can comfortably fit up to 15 tables.

We welcome visitors and strive to provide friendly and relaxed evenings when players compete fairly and courteously. We support fully the "Best Behaviour at Bridge" code introduced by the English Bridge Union which is set out on the General Information page.

The next coaching session set for Thursday 4th June has had to be cancelled as the hall is to be used as a polling station. A new date will be arranged shortly.

Captain's night is set for Monday 15th June, an evening not to be missed. Duplicate bridge will be played and each hand will have a special interest. A note of all the hands together with a short explanation will be available at the end of the evening. Please don't worry if you have not arranged a partner, do come along anyway. You are guaranteed to play.

Light refreshments will be served.

Our club's interest in the NICKO Plate came to an end when our 'A' team lost their fourth round match to North Cambridge. There is always next year to look forward to!

Congratulations to David Loasby and Mike Whiting who have retained the Diaper Cup with a score of 254.13. In second place were Tony Graham and Maurice Lewis while Valerie and Brian Barrett were third with 229.68.
