Stan Johnston and Minnis Cup

The Minnis Cup is awarded to Intermediate B players - the event is open to all players in this category in the Co Down area.
Isaac and Annie Minnis were well known local, enthusiastic players who founded the Killyleagh Bridge Club and they intended to encourage all those in the Intermediate B Category.
The event will be played over the course of the year from September - March. Your 10 best scores will apply. The Minnis Cup is not handicapped.

The Stan Johnston Cup is played over a series of 7 handicapped events from October - April. This cup was awarded in memory of Stan by his wife Liz.
You play with one regular partner and your best five (out of 7) scores will count.

These cups will be awarded at the AGM. If you win a cup please return it prior to the prizegiving.

NIBU seminar
The NIBU  organised a
FREE Bridge seminar for us!
Tuesday 28th May at Downpatrick Cricket Club.
We had good turnout from our club. Many thanks to Ciara Burns and John Murchan for their huge effort in organising a great evening. Now it's up to us to study the notes and learn.

The Stan Johnston Cup was won by Jacky Marks and Rosie Lowry. Congratulations ladies!
