It has been drawn to my attention that some members are still leaving dirty plates and trays in the kitchens at Lenham and Bearsted, leaving others to clear up for them.  Those who help by clearing the kitchens have plenty to do without this additional chore.  Please therefore ensure that your tray, and the plate on it, are properly washed and dried, and the plate put away in the appropriate cupboard.  I would prefer not to have to introduce the Downswood system of kitchen roll instead of plates, which arose from exactly this problem!
