New Laws 2017
New Laws 2017

The Laws are updated every 10 years by the WBF, after extensive global consultation. There is a continued trend towards fewer cancelled boards and more bridge results. There is a significantly expanded Table of Contents and Index and Artificial Adjusted scores are now rare. The most significant change is the definition of a Comparable Call and this affect the laws on insufficient bids and calls/passes/doubles/redoubles out of turn.

Also on the website (under the Directing & Scoring heading) are the
materials used at the
County TD training in September 2016, some advice on
using
EBUscore for more complicated events and how to use EBUScore for scoring
boards when a pairs has started playing at the wrong table (
as a result of Law 15B2).
