Count to 13 Club, Kingshill

Everyone is welcome to attend. Table money for all sessions is £3. The club is run in two sections catering for experienced players and 'Improvers'. No sessions have been scheduled on Mondays which are Bank holidays or part of a school holiday to enable as many people as possible to participate.

Main competitions:

Teams of 8: This event will begin on Monday October 29th at 7.15pm. 8 clubs from across the county have entered. Many of Kent's strongest players are participating. More teams can be accommodated. There will be two pools of 4 or 5 teams, splitting the field in half according to current rank. Dates of the T8 sessions are 29 Oct, 26 Nov, 17 Dec, 28 Jan, 25 Feb, 31 Mar, 28 Apr, (May no session), 23 June. These are generally the last Mondays in each month (avoiding holidays). If any additional pairs or single players would like to be involved, please contact me and I will try to faciliate your participation.
Aveling Teams of 4 League for Mid Kent: Matches within this competition will usually be played on the earliest available Monday in the month. Dates are: Nov 5, Dec 3, Jan 14, Feb 4, Mar 3, Apr 21, May 19 if needed.
Colour Point Pairs: A ladder pairs event played in two divisions, Red and Blue. Again many strong players have entered and some excellent competition is envisaged. After each session pairs will receive red or blue points based on the position they achieved. Pairs may be promoted and relegated each month.  The overall winners will be the pair with the highest total achieved from their best 6 red scores. The Blue division will be won by the pair with the best 6 blue scores. At the end all red points can be converted to blue by halving their value. Similarly all blue points can be converted to red by halving. Each pair will therefore maintain an interest in each section. Dates: Oct 8, Nov 19, Dec 10, Jan 21, Feb 11, Mar 10, (Apr no session), May 12, Jun 9. It is not too late to enter and further pairs will be welcomed.
