Mike and Sally-Ann Rothwell came 7th= and in the stratified results were 1st in the B category (below Life Master)

There was a very successful and enjoyable "Summer Supper and Bridge evening" on Saturday August 17 at Kendal Golf Club (thanks to Mick Howse).

Gay Talbot and Bill Tippett won (with a score of 53.99%) the Monday Cup competition which finished at the end of July 2013
Brian Smith and Ian Hatton were a close second with 53.66%

Sally and Philip Wraight came 7th out of 160 pairs in the EBU Scarborough Summer Congress Swiss Pairs held in July 2013
Babs Matthews and John Farmer came 5th in the teams (playing with Joyce and Bill White).

Babs Matthews and John Farmer came 1st out of 41 teams (playing with Joyce and Bill White) in the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire Swiss Teams on 21 July 2013.

Janice Mitchell and Philip Wraight won the St. Mary's Hospice simultaneous pairs. In total £590 was raised. The Kendal heat, held on Monday 24th June 2013, raised £140.

The 2013 President's Cup match between 8 mainly northern teams was held at Bradford Bridge Club on 29th and 30th June 2013.

Westmorland finished 5th out of 8th teams, which is a very creditable performance for such a small county. Well done to the team:

Mike Patefield won the county individual competition which was held on Sunday 7th April 2013.

Sally-Ann and Mike Rothwell came second out of 388 pairs in the Portland Pairs (the national Mixed Pairs competition) which was held on Sunday 24th March 2013.

Monday 18th February 2013 was Pro-Am night where each less experienced player is drawn at random to play with an experienced player.
The event raised £217 for the Alzheimer's Society in South Lakeland.
