Tuesday Night Bridge Lessons/Game

The Tuesday night lesson/game has a new format. Heavy snacks and a Q&A session start at 6:15, followed by a play-of-the-hand lesson and supervised play starting at 7PM. We will be done by 9:30. Card fee is $7.

Beginner Bridge Lessons

Beginner 'Standard American' bridge lessons are offered every Thursday night. Heavy snacks and a Q&A period start at 6:15. The lesson and supervised play start at 7 PM. We are done by 9 PM. Card fee is $5.

Welcome to the CS Bridge Club website. The club is owned and operated by Chuck Sadowski. The Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6:15 PM, and meets periodically on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM. All sessions are at the PDBC facility, 640A 79th St, Newport News, Va 23605. On Tuesday nights, Chuck starts with a Q&A session and heavy snacks at 6:15. At 7PM there is a play-of-the-hand lesson. We are done by about 9:30. Thursday night beginner lessons start with a Q&A session at 6:15, The lesson and supervised play starts at 7 PM. We are done by 9 PM. Come and join these informative and enjoyable formats for learning how to bid and play better bridge.

Saturday BAM/Pairs Bridge Games

On periodic Saturdays (see calendar), Chuck offers a lesson/game. The lesson starts at 11:00. There is a pot luck lunch at noon so please bring something to share. The game starts at about 12:30. The game is scored two different ways... as a board-a-match team game and as a normal pairs game. You can win points in the team game or you can win points in the pairs game (but not both). Chuck forms the teams by marrying up the pair with the most master points with the pair having the least master points, second highest with second lowest, etc. Card fee is $8.
