Starting in 2010, each autumn we have begun a course to take complete beginners and turn them into club-players. However, this coming year, unless there is an unexpected demand, we are planning to take a rest.
However we will be completing the course for those who began with us in 2012. The classes will again be at the club on Thursday evenings. The second-year course is very suitable for those who have played social bridge or gentle duplicate - perhaps even those who are self-taught from their own reading.
New students receive course material and become members of the English Bridge Union (EBU) and of Ipswich and Kesgrave Bridge Club.
Contact the club secretary John Leigh (01394 383701) if you are interested.
Our teachers are very approachable and if you would like to talk with them, please get in touch via John above.
