Bridge Tuition 2019-2020

We plan another two-year course for complete beginners to bridge starting in Autumn 2019.

Classes are typically two hours of teaching, starting at 7:30pm, with a break for refreshments and finishing at about 10pm.

We use the English Bridge Education and Development (EBED) material known as 'Bridge for All'. At the end of the course students should be able to play successful duplicate club bridge. Split into two 30-week years, we typically run from the last week in September (or first in October) for 10 lessons, take a break for Christmas, resume in early January for the remaining 20, with a week off at Easter.

The cost of our course is £50 per 10-week term with an initial payment of £25 per year for the course book, club and national bridge association membership.

We are open to students joining at any stage subject to class sizes. This is especially true at the start of Year-2 but for those who have a good grasp of the mechanics of the game, it is possible to join after say the first 10 weeks of Year-1. Please contact the club with any questions.
