The various 'Individual', 'Pairs', 'Handicap' and 'Improvers' competitions are automatically generated by the Bridgewebs software and are updated when results are uploaded. You may see your progress up or down these ladders as the year progresses, a list of Master Point Winners is also produced. 

The 'Combined Individual' ladder is manually adjusted at the end of the year to reflect it's qualification criteria and with the exception of this competition there is both a Gentlemen and Lady winner of the other individual ladders.

The 'Club Championship Pairs' held in the Autumn is a one off event.

See the 'Historical Information' menu option for older competitions and historical data on all individuals and partnerships who have played at the club since January 2011. There is also a list of all known winners of previous events under the 'Honours Boards' sub heading. Trophy names are also given.

The competitions have rules mostly as you would expect; only club members can win competitions with both partners needing to be club members in the case of pairs competitions.

The only tricky issue is the number of qualifying sessions. To win any ladder competition you need to have taken part in a set number of the available sessions - as an Individual or as a Pair - in both this and the prior year in the case of 'Improvers' and 'Handicap'. Currently Monday ladders require you to have taken part in 20 sessions, normal Wednesday ladders require participation in 15 sessions and the Friendly First Wednesday ladder requires participation in 5 sessions.

The 'Combined' ladder requires session participation of 15 times on Mondays, 10 on normal Wednesdays and 1 on Friendly First Wednesdays, this ladder will be manually adjusted to reflect that criteria.
