Rules
The Lebus year runs from 1st February to the
following 31st January inclusive
- The Lebus is an individual competition, the cup being awarded
to the player with the highest average of their best 12 scores obtained in a
Lebus year. These 12 scores must include results obtained playing with at least
three different partners. Scores made playing with a visitor or the Tournament
Director will not be counted.
- The only results counting for the Lebus for 2013-14 are those
from the weekly Wednesday afternoon duplicate.
- At least 21 boards must be played for a session to count
towards the Lebus. ‘No Fear’ or any supervised sessions do not count.
- Cumulative best scores will be posted on the bridge website
and on the Card Room notice board at the end of each month, except in January
when they will be updated weekly.
- The Lebus Cup will be presented at the Annual Bridge
Reception or Dinner.
- In the case of any dispute, the decision of the Chairman of
Bridge is final.
