The membership of the club is increasing, and the number of players attending continues to rise, especially on SIMS evenings. The Committee is worried at the possibility of having to turn away players if numbers exceed our maximum of 14 tables (56 players).
We are therefore introducing a simple Booking System, which allows members to reserve places for a given evening.
Members can still attend without making a prior booking-in reservation, but in the event of more than 56 people (14 tables) being present, those with reserved places would take precedence.
Please note that this is for members only. (Members may book-in with a non-member guest partner). Priority for playing would be:
- Members, booked-in on this page.
- Members, not booked in, early attenders.
- Members, not booked in, late arrivals.
- Non-members, early attenders.
- Non-members, late arrivals.
To book in: Just enter your name and your partner's name, then press the "Post Message" button.
To cancel a reservation: Please click this link to email Hugh Pihlens. Please do not simply fail to attend if you have booked in!
At the present time, the booking system is for SIMS events (and the Christmas Party) only.
