Bill Greenhill's Birthday - Christmas Party |
The Club couldn't go without celebrating the birthday of this most well respected member, Bill Greenhill. He won't mind the world knowing that he is now 90 years young and what an inspiration he is. In this photo you can see him with Tessa (Shingler) and Bill (Broughton) with Jenny (Pearce) taking the photo. Tessa gave us some wonderful anecdotes of Bill's life in and around Horning with some very intersting details of his links to the diocese of Norwich and St Benet's Abbey. This celebration added to the further enjoyment of the evening. Suzanne, sent her congratulations and was sorry she couldn't be there |

SanFrancisco Update |
Notes from SanFrancisco. - Graham Grist. 'We all visited Las Vegas for a night on the way to the Grand Canyon. Suzanne took a day tour down the beautiful Pacific Highway to Carmel and Monterey, of Clint Eastwood fame. Suzanne took a great number of pictures. Hopefully she will be able to supply a few pictures for the website, along with more information. We played in 10 events out of the 200 that make up the 10 day North American Bridge Championship, scoring points in 7 of them." www.acbl.org/play/recent-results.php |
