Once again the Club was very well supported for this event. We were all offered refreshments on arrival. The food provided by members would have put a 5 star restaurant to shame. The Raffle table showed the generosity of everyone. Monies raised from the raffle was given to a local charity, supported by the EDP 'We Care Appeal'
A Pivot movement was played prior to the meal and the raffle. Which then continued until prizegiving.

Meeting of members before play........................
What a great day we had for our away day. There were just over 50 members who attended the function at the Holiday Inn at Norwich Airport.
It was all extremely civilised, starting with coffee and biscuits 10.00 > 10.30. We played a pivot movement of bridge, until lunch time.
Lunch was in the main restaurant, with a wonderful selection from the carvery and sweet section.
After the meal we assembled again for another two hours of play. Coffee was served again at approximately 4.00 pm when prizes were given to the successful winners.
