This DVD deals with how to set up a long suit (however weak) in a suit contract where the trumps provide the ability to ruff out losers. It introduces the “Entry Rule” which states that to set up the suit (and crucially be able to get to it) you need one more entry than the number of times you need to ruff.

The Entry Rule allows you to see if it is possible to set the suit up and if not, decide at trick one to look for an alternative approach.  It also demonstrates that ruffing in the short trump hand gains tricks whilst ruffing in the long trump hand does not.

Very watchable, this DVD is easily understood and most players would gain from viewing this.
