This DVD looks at how to use your high cards to make tricks, as declarer (part one) and as defender (part two). It explains the concept of a “frozen suit” (whereby the first side to lead it will give away a trick).  It explains the advantage of leading small cards towards honours. For defenders, it extends the ideas to cover dangerous opening leads, leads later in the play,  and covering an honour with an honour.

The ideas here should be well known to most players, but the way they are presented makes it easy to follow. Whether as a refresher or to cement ideas already known, this DVD is a must see for all players.
