Really Easy Bridge
Introduction To Really Easy Bridge

Rally Easy Bridge Afternoon  events are run in a gentle fashion and very much intended for those who would like to put a first toe on the competition ladder but may feel a little nervous about doing so.

The format of Really Easy Afternoon events is a simple duplicate pairs event held in multiple venues across the country, all playing the same hands as at (in the case of 14th October 2016) the autumn congress. Typically these events are aimed at players with an NGS rank of less than a Jack. Hand commentaries are provided as well as cash prizes (including stratified prizes for those with an NGS rank of less than 6).

For further information about the purpose and structure of Really Easy events please see the link below.

For further specifics about the autumn congress please see this link.

The next such afternoons are on Friday 14th october 2016 and then on Tuesday December 27th alongside the Year End Congress. If you are aware of any clubs in the region able to host a duplicate session on a Tuesday afternoon, then I would be pleased to discuss the event with them and let them know whats involved (50% of all event entry fees are sent to the host club in return for providing the venue).

If you have any additional questions then please let me or Philippa know.

October 14th In Lymington

Subject: Really Easy Afternoon Friday Oct 14th - Lymington BC

Andy, Tim

I recently invited Lymington BC to consider hosting the above event at their club, given they traditionally meet on a Friday afternoon. I am pleased to say that the club has agreed and I am now writing to you to ask that you publicise the fact on your county websites and try to promote the event to novice players and improvers in the region.  etc etc (as above)
