| Cahalan Cup Rules Summary |
As the winners of the Cahalan Cup do not represent the County in a further event, it has been decided to allow members of other counties to join HIWCBA teams. However, at least half of each team playing should be prime HIWCBA members and the matches should be played in the HIWCBA area.
This Level 4 green pointed knock out competition with an un-seeded draw is conducted on a head to head basis between teams of four
Matches are of 24 boards duration except for final of 32 boards and are played in 4 stanzas of 6 boards, and 4 stanzas of 8 in the final.
If the result is level at the end of the specified number of boards, then 4 extra boards must be played and this action will continue until a result is obtained.
