The 2008 beginners course started on Wednesday 24th September at Bancroft Hall Hitchin.

The teaching will be done by 2 very experienced teachers and bridge players – Tony Slater and Gaynor Tinsdale who will run the course in 3 week modules. The course follows the English Bridge Union's Bridge For All syllabus and students can become members of the EBU by purchasing the course study book.

Lessons start at 7.30 p.m. and last approximately 2 hours. Students will then be very welcome to stay and chat over coffee and biscuits or watch the play in the club area.

We have a class of 16 but it is not too late to join if you have some previous playing experience. The cost for the term is £60.
