Big Tidy Up Bancroft Recreation Ground
Big Tidy Up Bancroft Recreation Ground

On Sunday 5th May members of the club (some shown in photograph) gathered to clear Bancroft Recreation Ground of litter. Loads of rubbish was removed including an office chair, bicycle wheel, bundles of undelivered newspapers, panes of glass and pieces of carpet. Members waded in the river to remove bottles, cans and general junk. 5 full sacks of recyclables were taken to Waitrose and 8 sacks of rubbish were collected by NHDC.

A very enjoyable morning and a job well done.
