Welcome to the Hilton Head Island Bridge Club, an ACBL sanctioned bridge club. We take pride in being a friendly-first bridge club.

Directions:  Follow US 278 East to mile-marker five. At the light at the intersection of 278 and Plaza Drive (McDonald's will be on your right and Dillon Rd will be on your left), turn right into Port Royal Plaza. We are the sixth store on the left.

Junior Bridge



Junior bridge meets every Saturday from 10 am to noon and is open to children aged 8-17 years old. Absolute beginners to advanced players are welcome and it is absolutely free. Children can be checked in for the morning; parents or grandparents can stay! Contact Laura Cosimi at 843-802-2080.

Defense Workshops For Advancing Players

It’s time to start planning your defense! Are you stuck like a deer in headlights when it comes to opening leads? Do signals mean anything to your partnership? What do I keep and what do I throw away? You play defense about 50% of the time so you might as well get good at it!

These workshops are geared for intermediate players who want to explore and practice defensive methods. No book required and handouts are provided each week. Workshops held Tuesdays 10:00 to 12:00 at the Hilton Head Island Bridge Club in Port Royal Shopping Center. Cost is $15 per person.

Play of the Hand Workshops for Newer Players

You and partner have communicated perfectly, you have reached a game contract and you are the declarer!     The opponent makes their opening lead, dummy hand comes down it is time to make your plan!    Uh oh, this contract depends on making a finesse or two, and, the transportation is tricky!!   Come out and learn the tools that are available to not only make contracts, but to maximize the number of tricks you deserve to win as declarer.   Workshops held Fridays 10:00 to 12:00 at our club.  Each lesson is $15 per person.    We will be using a textbook,  Play of the Hand in the 21stCentury, cost is $20.
