Our club plays every Monday evening at Kloof Catholic Church. The club is a large evening club in KwaZulu-Natal and visitors are always welcome, except when Club Championships and Teams are being played.

On the first Monday of every month, we play the Highway Cup competition, which is not a graded event. At the end of the year, the pair who has the highest score wins the Highway Cup trophy. This is awarded on the best 5 scores attained by the pair over the year. See Competitions for details.

Play on all other evenings is graded, except our Teams competition which is scored as IMPs. Please see the calendar for dates.

When playing Teams and using IMP scoring, the emphasis is placed on bidding games & slams, with overtricks not being so important. It works in the following manner: if for example, you are sitting North/South the score that you achehieve on a board is compared with the average of all the East/West scores and converted into IMPs using the normal scale. Refer 'Cross IMP Scoring' for a fuller explanation.
