Our club has operated a "host" system for the last 20 years.  During that time the same people have religiously signed up to act as the spare every year.  This year however we seem to be having difficulty in getting volunteers.  Please take your turn as the spare and sign up now if you haven't already done so.  This applies to all our members - we need you!

Autumn Slams ladder

Maureen Breuilly is leading the Autumn Slams Ladder with Margaret Treacy, Margaret Farley and Peter Ling just 2 points behind.  Maureen's recent Grand Slam put her in the lead.  

 
Children In Need

Please note that the "Children in Need" simultaneous pairs is on 15th November not 8th as previously advertised.

Summer Cup

After an amazing final night's score of 75% Sue Rankin wins the Summer Cup with Howard Basden-Smith in second place.  The long time leader Biddy Waters was knocked into third place.

Congratulations to the winner and to all who qualified for the competition.
District Lower Restricted Pairs
District Lower Restricted Pairs

Congratulations to Craig Honey and Seb Perez who won the District Lower Restricted Pairs. The combined result from Guernsey is not yet available.  Peter Newbald and Chris Blackstone came second and Mary Friswell and Aline Staples a close third.  

 
Constitution

The Highfield Club Constitution (2012) and Schedule of Disciplinary procedures was approved and adopted at the the recent AGM held on 8th December 2012.
 
The Highfield Bridge Club is moving on 24th May 2016

The Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Clarkson House, Mont Cochon, St Helier, JE2 3JB from 24th May 2016.  Please be there by 7.15 pm at the latest.
