This is a pairs competition for players with an NGS rating of 10 or less on the date of entry.

FREE for all players whose primary county affiliation is to Hertfordshire, otherwise £8 per pair. |
| Format: |
A single session event of 24 boards, pairs scoring. |
| Conventions: |
Players are only allowed to use conventions that are permitted under 'Level 2' systems. These include the common English systems but not artificial bids which may be weak e.g. multi two diamonds. See the EBU site for more details. |
| Eligibility: |
Players must have an NGS rating of 10 or less on the date of entry. |
| Entries: |
Pre-entry is required. You may enter at any time prior to the day of the session. No entries on the day. |
