The "Dawson" team will represent Hertfordshire in the Pachabo Cup (the EBU's inter county championship for teams of four) in June.

The provisional results published directly after the Final have now been amended to reflect the HBA Appeal Committee's ruling to change the result of board 3 in the 1st session between pairs 6 & 22 following an appeal by pair 22.

In second place and pushing Watford very hard were the Sobell BC team of Bob Pyburn & Doug Edmonds, Terry Butfield & Joan Butfield, Ahmad Mallick & Ulla Mallick, Eddie O'Sullivan & Colin Thomas.

In third place were the team from Harpenden Duplicate.

There was an excellent turnout with teams from 12 different clubs taking part.

Congratulations to the team of Anne Flockhart, Mike Hancock, Derek & Celia Oram who won the Rose Bowl multiple teams event on Sunday 4th December. They will represent Hertfordshire in the Beck Cup held in Oxfordshire next year.
