County Youth Officer

Bridge teaching in primary schools in Hertfordshire is practically non existent. Teaching bridge to 9-11 year olds has been shown to be hugely beneficial not only for mathematical skills but also logical thinking, team working and other social skills.

We would like to appoint a volunteer as County Youth Officer. This individual will need to be energetic, persuasive and yet be diplomatic and tactful with schools and other volunteers who would be recruited to help in schools.

We think this is a really important area for the longer term development of bridge in the County so if you are interested and would like to discuss it further please do call me Bernard Eddleston on 01462 623447 or email bernard.eddleston@ntlworld.com
