 Welcome to the Heritage Coast Bridge Club. We are a friendly informal duplicate bridge club which was set up for beginners in 2007. We began with only two to four tables and have now increased to six to nine tables. More experienced players have joined and the standard of the club is improving. Players of all standards are welcome.
We start playing at 1.15pm so players are asked to be there at least 10 minutes before this to help organise tables etc and give directors time to organise the afternoon's bridge. We aim to finish between 4.30pm and 4.45ppm as we need to vacate the premises by 5.00pm.
We try to play a Mitchell movement and a Howell movement alternately. However, this doesn't always work out as sometimes we have too few tables for a Mitchell movement to be sensible. |
