CONGRATULATIONS!
CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to Henry/Harry & Dodo Treadwell who celebrate their Diamond wedding anniversary on 20th August.

They met by chance in a northern city shortly before WW2 and discovered they had the same birthday. Dodo and Harry are celebrating with a family party in the home they built for their retirement in the garden of the ancient manor house in Southwick. Harry is a retired journalist and publisher and for 20 years Dodo had a unique shop in Shoreham called The Real Thing, which was a main outlet for the work of many Sussex potters and craftsmen. Harry has been a member of HDBS for 20 years having initially attended Terry Kelly's classes. He was the first member of Adur Valley Bridge Clubs' Shoreham Club in March this year and also plays at Worthing. Dodo says she has never had the inclination to play bridge...
