Welcome to the Helensburgh Bridge Club.  We play at the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Clubhouse, in Rhu. Our club attracts duplicate bridge players from Helensburgh, Cardross, Dumbarton, and Clynder.  Visitors are always welcome to come and play in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

The club nights are every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Interested in Playing Bridge?

  Beginners  A short course of 10 lessons for complete beginners runs periodically in the Royal Northern Yacht Club.  You need not know a  spade from a club, or an ace from a king - part of lesson 1.   Notes covering the basics of bidding, play and defence are issued by email.  If you are interested in learning to play email me via the link below or call 01436 673433.

 Improvers  A further series of lessons wshich concentrate on competitive bidding, look at some simple conventions and play in a club tournament situation. 

 Novice Club Players  A brief series of lessons looking at further bidding conventions, aspects of play in defence and techniques for match point play.
