Letter from Major Ian Cheesman.

Firstly, on behalf of the soldiers,sailors, airmen and women who have had the misfortune (due to wounding) to pass through this organisation, now and in the future, offer my sincerest thanks to the Heathercroft B.C. for the very generous donation of £1000, to the RCDM Patient Welfare Fund.

It is quite simply a fantastic gesture and will make a considerable difference, to those miltary personnel that have been wounded in action and their families.As you may be aware this money will be used in a myriad of different ways but you can be absolutely sure that every penny will for the direct benefit of the service men and women that find themselves as battle casualites here at Selly Oak Hospital.

Once again, a huge thank you for this donation, it is a huge comfort for the wounded to know there is such sincere public support out there, particularly at this festive time.
