Directors guide for using Bridge Pads with ScoreBridge When all players are seated start ScoreBridge and click New Event. On the new event profile screen check that there is a tick to Use Bridge Pad and that the date is correct enter the number of Tables, where it says Description type Afternoon or Evening then click OK On the movement screen put a dot where it says Club Standard select the movement and click OK on the pop up screen click Yes. The Scorebridge Bridge Pad control screen will start click where it says Retrieving. Distribute the Bridge Pads, there will be a message highlighted in RED saying that NAME ENTRY INCOMPLETE check that this message disappear's after the first round, if you have a half table click OTHER PAGES then click allocation of names, enter any missing names and click OK/SAVE ScoreBridge Bridge Pad control screen will start put a tick where it says RETRIEVING Before the start of the final round put a tick where it says UPDATE wait until the screen comes back then put your mouse arrow on the blue part of the screen and drag it down about one inch then while still holding the mouse drag it to the right until the result so far is in view then release the mouse Howell movements and Mitchell Half tables If the phantom pair does not move i.e That table will never be used for play , do not put a Bridge Pad there and enter the names through OTHER PAGES If the phantom pair does move put a Bridge Pad there and enter zero for the missing pair. This applies for Howell and Mitchell movements Bridge Pad stops communication This process will get the Bridge Pad restarted without you having to re-enter scores Key XX and PWR together to go to the Welcome screen key BACK and then enter the password the default is Q K and then click NEXT key 4 on the next screen REPLACE FAILED UNIT enter the table number when asked and wait till the take over sequence to complete If that does not correct the problem, use a spare Bridge Pad to take over from the failed one using the same keying sequence as above. If the batteries in a bridge pad fails during the game, they can be replaced without loss of information. After replacing the failed batteries with new one's press the PWR key and then the 3 key.
