Game Night at Harriburg Bridge Club
Game Night at Harriburg Bridge Club

Harrisburg Bridge Club held it's inaugural Game Night Thursday April 10 for club members, their families, and friends, to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. It was a well attended event starting out with a pizza and salad dinner, topped off with home made desserts. There was plenty of lively competition after dinner with several games played. There was Bridge Bingo and regular Bingo with Jim Boyer handling those duties, then Horse Racing run by Mike Mendelson. The best part of the night was raising over $1,000 for the Alzheimer's Association! Kudos to Mike Medndelson for organizing the event and to his many helpers who made the night such a success. Pictured above is Mike Mendelson running the Horse Race!

What We Offer

Harrisburg Bridge Club proudly offers many educational experiences to help people learn to play bridge and become better players.  Activities include:

♣ Beginner Bridge Classes
♦ Intermediate Bridge Classes
♥ Weekly mini lessons (Free, Mondays before the evening games & Wednesdays before the afternoon game) NEW: free assisted session for 0-50 players on Wednesday afternoons at 12:30 PM
♠ Monthly Bridge Pearls to "Master" workshops (second Friday in selected months); next Pearls workshop is scheduled for April 12th, and the topic is “Sacrifice, Double or Pass”; see flyers below for information about this workshop as well as the initial 2024 Pearls schedule:

♣ Mentor games
     * Swiss Mixer game (open) - third Thursday evening in selected months
     * Junior Mentor game (0-750 MPs) - third Thursday evening in selected months
     * Senior Mentor game (more than 50 MPs) - third Thursday evening in selected months
