Site Statistics
The charts showing in the Site Statistics page under Administration show the daily activity on the site. The bars are logarithmic to avoid a single day or search engines distorting the remainder of the chart and better show the change over a month. Hold the mouse over a line to see the actual figures for that day.

There are several ways of defining a Visitor. Bridgewebs determines a New Visitor as someone viewing/browsing a page on the site who has not connected to the site for 60 minutes. "Someone" is defined according to the IP address they use. Two or more people each using a PC in the same house or company may only be treated as one visitor because they will probably have the same IP Address.
Site Counter
There is an option of a Site Counter underneath the menu. This shows the total number of pages viewed in a year and is updated by 1, every time someone views a page.
