There is now an option to show/use dates in American fashion.

You can now add extra options to show the Individual, Partnership and Master Points for the Previous Club Year. Useful just after the year end when the regular ones get reset.

Map Feature Upgrade - Release 2.17

Problems with the map feature causing computers to hang have been overcome by providing two levels of Pins. In the first instance you will need to click on the Green Pin for an area, then the Red Pin for a club.

There have been several improvements to the bridgewebs standard import facility for non-scorebridge users and presentation of results.

Modifications have been made to cater for date format MM/DD/YY.

Session Control Login - Release 2.17a

A different "Session Control" method of logging in is available.

This is basically a technical improvement only, but if any user experiences problems logging in, then the site can be used to use the "Session Control" security which avoids using "Cookies". If Cookies are available then it will remember some details next time, but this is not essential.

Sub Menu - Release 2.17a

Following feedback on the Release 2.17 "Menu", it has been changed to automatically show the first page of a submenu for a number of reasons.

The status-quo was preferred by several users
-
Some users with some Browsers/Settings could not use the menu.
-
Some sites had adjusted their menus in such a way that the new version was not showing certain pages.
-
This change will be effective after you next update you web site in any way including uploading results.

No adverse feedback was received during the months of beta testing but on general release problems have arisen, if you have any comments on the way it works please email gwynne@bridgewebs.com.

Bridgewebs now recognizes certain suffixes and ignores them as Surnames e.g.
