News - Picture GalleryIf you have a number of pictures that you want to add to a news item such as Prize Giving or Christmas Parties, then
- Upload the pictures and resize as suggested see Uploading Pictures
- Then return to the News Item
You can add pictures to your news items in a variety ways.
1. to add a single picture to a news item
- Select the news item
- In the Picture option, select the picture required from the drop down, which shows all pictures in your library along with some useful icons
- Use the accompanying boxes to choose where and how to display the picture

2. Using the editor
- Select the news item
- Click on the camera icon in the editor
- A pop-up box is shown. In the Picture/ Image box, select the required picture from the drop down list, which again shows all pictures in your library along with some useful icons.
- Use the width box if you need to resize the image.

- A useful feature in the editor, is that you can use a table to help with positioning of pictures. Insert a table of the required size, then insert pictures in individual cells of the table.
3. Using the 'Add Picture' button
- Select the news item
- Press the 'Add Picture' button

- To add one picture "Click" the picture which will be highlighted in red and Save.
- To add multiple pictures "Double Click" the first picture until it goes red and then click other pictures required, each should remain red. When you have selected all pictures required, press Save.
- When displayed on the News page, Bridgewebs will automatically add thumbnails of each picture and when the user moves the Mouse over a picture the main picture will change.
You can also use a movie in your news item. Ideally, you should include only one movie file per news item and not mix it with pictures. Add the movie file ,using either method 1 or 3 above. Currently, it's not possible to use movie files within the editor.
