The system differentiates between regular "Club" nights and "Special Events"

When you "highlight" events they will appear highlighted on the calendar.

But more importantly, they will also appear on the home page. This allows you to mark up "Special Events" rather than regular "Club" nights which have been entered just to show the "Director", "Scorer", "Host" or "Dealer".

You can have up to 9 different "Highlight" types and corresponding Colours

Go to Calendar - Options and scroll down to "Set the colour of the highlighted calendar entries"

First give each highlight type a name instead of the default "Colour" name. You can then change the Colour for each type.

Then, because of the way they are used in different places, you can choose how to use that colour. Whether to use the colour as a background or as the colour of the text. Some background colours may look better with a White Text, some with a black Text, It is up to you.
