News - Editor

The Editor included in Bridgewebs allows you to format your News Items much like a Word Processor.

The table below:

Hyperlink Picture/Image   Free format insert of images/pictures in your text
Enter a URL such as

Picture/Image Quick insert of pictures from your Bridgewebs Picture Library
Spade Quick insert of spade symbol

Hyperlink Links/Hyperlinks  

Free format insert of links/hyperlinks in your text
Enter a URL such as

   http://www.bridgewebs.com/clubcode/home.html
   http://www.bridgewebs.com/guide
   http://www.google.com

  • Text - The actual words to show for the link
  • Target - Whether to open a "New Browser Window"
Links/Hyperlinks Quick insert of links to pages in your Bridgewebs web site
Hyperlink Email  

You can include an email link in your text, use the same link icon and change the "Link Type" to "Email" 

  • Email - info@bridgewebs.com
  • Name - Name to show instead of email address
  • Subject - Automatically assign a "Subject"
  • Message - Automatically assign a "Message" usually the start e.g. "Please send me more details of...."
Hyperlink Table   You can create and manipulate a table, use "Right Click" to find options
Hyperlink Remove Format   If you paste text from elsewhere, it may be necessary to mark that text and remove the format to "Clean" it and then apply your own.

 

NOTE: if you type in a word beginning with www, the Editor will automatically convert that to a Link

NOTE: if you type in an email address, that is something with an @ in the middle, the Editor will automatically convert that to a Link

NOTE:

Any documents that you have uploaded to your web site can be accessed with the web address the following web address, e.g.. picture.gif

TIP

Use the browser to check the URL of your links or pictures and see if they are valid and then "Cut" the address from the Browser Address Bar.
