Uploaded Documents can be used in many places

• Menu - Directly in the menu (PDF Only)
• News - As links to News Items.
• Calendar - As additional information to an event such as an Entry Form
• Competitions - As additional information

If you have already uploaded the document, see Uploading Documents, then

Menu

• Go to [Menu] - [Amend]
• Click in Menu where you want it to appear
• Click on the Button for the Document

The Document will then appear in the Menu

News

• Go to Appropriate News item
• In Link options, choose the "Document from Library" option
• and choose the Document
• then, optionally, choose "Plus How to Open"
  • New Window will open the document in a New Window
  • Same Window - not recommended for this as that will replace the main web site
  • Frame - will open within a Frame (Box) in the page of the web site

The link will then appear against this news item

Links in Editor Text

• In Editor, mark the text you want to convert to a link.
• Use the  icon
  • Use the dropdown list to choose the Document to link
• Alternatively, click the  icon and add manually
  • For Documents in your Public Library, the link should be http://  www.bridgewebs.com/myclub/Xxxxxxx.pdf
  • For Documents in your Private Library, the link should be http://  www.bridgewebs.com/cgi-bin/bwx/bw.cgi?club=myclub&pid=docs_Xxxxxxx.pdf

• You may also want to choose in "Target" - "new Window"
• Click "OK" and the selected text will convert to a link.

NOTE. If you want to move a document from the Public to Private directory, or vice-versa, you will need to remove all existing usage, move the document (PDF Only) and then put the references back again.

NOTE In the case of "Private" documents, the link takes you to a Bridgewebs function which will check whether the person accessing is logged in and then read and present the document otherwise will show the "Login" page.
