Calendar - SharingFor two or more related clubs using Bridgewebs, there is feature to include (merge) the calendar on each other's sites.
- Security - To merge a club's calendar, each club will need to set the security to allow sharing.
- Sharing - Then specify the codes for the calendar that you want to include.
- Code - You will need to know the Bridgewebs code for each club
- Calendar - You can specify whether to include just "Highlighted" events or "All" events
- Results - You can specify whether to include just "Highlighted" events or "All" events
Currently this feature only works using the full Monthly Calendar.
Note This can be used in various ways.
- Each club can maintain their own calendar and results. But then two or more closely related clubs where most of the same players play at both clubs can merge the calendars of each other's club.
- A club can show the calendar/results for their County/Unit. As well as setting the County/Site code in your calendar, you will need to ask the County/Unit to allow Calendar sharing.
- The highlighted feature can be used to show just certain special events from another Club/Count/Unit.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to liaise to ensure the definition of Highlighting is the same.
Typically, the lead organization County/Unit would add clubs who hold special events and choose Highlight Calendar in order to advertise these
A club would add the code of their County/Unit and add All Calendar and All Results.
But really it depends on the relationship between the 2 sites.
