Great Missenden Bridge Club prides itself on providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The Club meets every Wednesday in the Great Missenden Memorial Centre with play starting at 7.30pm or earlier when possible.

 Please arrive and be seated by 7.15pm at the latest.

If you are running late or held-up unexpectantly, please text Val on 07778 119094 and she will let the Director know.

We play duplicate pairs using pre-dealt hands with scoring by "Bridgemates".

It is with sadness that I announce the death of Val Astles.

She died peacefully in her sleep on 19th March 2024 after a short illness.

She was just two days short of her 97th birthday..

Val was a member of GMBC for many years, usually partnering her son, Bill.

She played right up until lockdown and even ventured out after that, even though her memory was failing and she was becoming quite frail.

FUNERAL DETAILS

There will be a service at Little Missenden Church at 3.30pm on

MONDAY 15th APRIL

Guests are welcome at Missenden Abbey HP16 0BD at 4.45pm to share in a celebration of Val's life.
