Have you ever played Duplicate or Social (Rubber) bridge? YES

Please feel free to join our game. Our group ranges from beginner to expert. All skill levels are welcome. It does not matter if you only play Social or Rubber Bridge, you will fit in just fine! Help us make Friday Afternoon at the Woodin YMCA a great bridge game and a great group of people having a fun time, join us for a game!
An RSVP helps us plan ahead, so if you think you may be playing with us, please RSVP (button to left). An RSVP is not required, so if you are a bit shy, feel free to stop by and introduce yourself... we will find you a partner and seat!

| Have you ever played Duplicate or Social (Rubber) bridge? NO |
In order to play in our game, you need to know a few bidding and play of the hand rules before you are ready to sit down at the table and play. We offer our own version of Learn Bridge in a Day. A normal bridge game takes around 4 to 4 1/2 hours, our one day lesson takes between 5 and 6 hours. You will not only learn how to play basic bridge in a day but also complete a round of bridge. After the class you will be ready to join us at any of our games. Please click on Lessons to the left to let us know you are interested. |
| How much does it cost to play? |
Regular Games, YMCA Members $3. Non YMCA members pay the standard game price. |
| Will I earn ACBL Master Points |
YES! Our games are sanctioned by the ACBL and we have an ACBL certified director running every game. You do not have to be a member of the ACBL to play. If you wish to join the ACBL please let us know. We have instant membership forms so you can start earning points right away and for every 10 members we sign up we are able to offer an extra point game at no additional cost! |
| Is Duplicate Bridge for Me? |
Bridge is a Trump card game, much like Spades or Hearts! Bridge is no longer just a game for "grandma". Some of our members are involved in Youth Bridge around the area. Youth from middle and high schools participate. Once in awhile some of the youth players will show up at our games... sometimes they even win!
Bridge is great for the mind, a great way to make new friends and great way to have fun on a Friday afternoon.

| Do I need a partner? |
The short answer is no. There is always someone to play with you at our game. So, don't let not having a partner stop you from joining us. However, we hope that over time you will find a few people you enjoy playing with on a regular basis and as time goes on you will have regular partners. |
