Welcome to the Gt. Yarmouth Bridge Club home page.

Gt.Yarmouth is the major seaside resort and the major port in Norfolk.

We play duplicate bridge on Monday evening at the Gorleston Conservative Club, 34 Pier Plain, Gorleston on Sea.

Players are asked to be in their seats by 6.55pm.

If you wish to find out more about the club please contact the Secretary.

Looking for a Partner

We are always happy to accommodate new players or visitors to the area, and if you are looking for a partner please contact Joan Barker in the first instance on 01493 844657 or alternatively fill in the request for a partner at the top right of this Home Page.

Anyone wishing to learn bridge or improve their bridge game should contact John Barker who will be organising and giving lessons for the Club.
Please note new Beginners Group Lesson starting Wed 4th March 2015 - Cost £7.00 per session. Lesson will run from 9.30am to 11.30am no experience necessary as full training will be given. The aim is to get new players to a level that they can play in a club within 15 weeks. However some prefer just to play at home and this is no problem either.
Ongoing Intermediates - lessons every Tuesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm covering a variety of topics. Usually we have up to 8 people and it is a fun afternoon working on new ideas and then playing relevant practice hands. Cost £7.00
Improvers - At the moment there isn't a Class for this but if anybody is interested please contact John.
Private Lessons - Please contact John for more details, he will be happy to train on a particular subject or gauge what he feel is the best route for a particular individual.
