| Duplicate Bridge for non-Experts |
Welcome to Great Baddow LTC Bridge Club.
Our aim is to provide new Bridge players with a club where they can practice what they have learned, and for returning players to get back up to speed.
We meet on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons between 1.30 and 4.30 at Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club. No partner needed as we operate a host system.
We play duplicate pairs, but at a slower speed than more experienced clubs (about 16/18 hands in 3 hours) and usually have 2 or 3 "experts" on hand to offer advice on bidding and play. It is all very sociable and hopefully provides the right atmosphere for players to improve.
Due to the success of the club we have currently closed the Tuesday membership but guests are welcome. We have just started playing on Wedesday afternoons and new members are welcome.
