Welcome to Great Baddow LTC Bridge Club.

Our aim is to provide new Bridge players with a club where they can practice what they have learned, and for returning players to get back up to speed.  We meet on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons between 1.25 and 4.30 at Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club.  No Partner is needed as we operate a host system.

On Tuesdays, we play normal duplicate pairs in a slightly more relaxed manner than at clubs for very experienced players (about 21-22 hands in 3 hours). We usually have 2 "experts" to organise the movement, to act as hosts, and to offer advice if asked after a hand has been played.  Guests with some experience of duplicate pairs are welcome.
 
On Wednesdays, we play more slowly (about 18 boards) so that expert advice can be given during the bidding and play.  So the Wednesday sessions are ideal for bridge players wishing to take up duplicate bridge (some experience is neccessary) and those wishing to improve their bidding and  card play.
