20th February: Four Teams from the Club enjoyed a very sociable match hosted by Tewkesbury Bridge Club, which Gloucester won by a narrow margin of 21 VPs. Thanks to all those who took part.
Starting in the autumn, Gloucester Bridge Club will be running a course to help beginners learn how to play bridge.
This will take place on Monday evenings from 7pm – 9:30pm at our home in the Elmscroft Community Centre in Barnwood, Gloucester.
The course will run over 3 terms and costs £5 per session. This includes all refreshments and some course materials, with additional EBU training books and the course guide available at a discounted rate.
Our course-leaders are qualified teachers, who play regularly at Gloucester Bridge Club. Most important of all, our course leaders recognise that learning bridge should be fun!
The course itself is a Bridge for All course.
♠ Bridge for All is the complete learn and play programme developed for the English Bridge Union and promoted through English Bridge Education and Development (EBED).♠
