Learn to Play Bridge
Autumn 2017 lessons announced
Autumn 2017 lessons announced

Starting in the autumn, Gloucester Bridge Club will be running a course to help beginners learn how to play bridge.

This will take place on Monday evenings from 7pm – 9:30pm at our home in the Elmscroft Community Centre in Barnwood, Gloucester.

The course will run over 3 terms and costs £5 per session. This includes all refreshments and some course materials, with additional EBU training books and the course guide available at a discounted rate.

Our course-leaders are qualified teachers, who play regularly at Gloucester Bridge Club. Most important of all, our course leaders recognise that learning bridge should be fun!

The course itself is a Bridge for All course.

♠ Bridge for All is the complete learn and play programme developed for the English Bridge Union and promoted through English Bridge Education and Development (EBED).♠

Bridge for All is based on the Standard English Acol bidding system and is the nationally approved method of learning the game so that the student can progress from learner, through intermediate to expert.
