| A Short History of the Geylang West Bridge Club |
The Club was started in the year 2000 under the auspices of the Peoples' Association Retirees’ Club (PARC). Games were held weekly at the premises of the Peoples Association (PA) on the grounds of the old Kallang Airport. In 2005, the Club moved to its present premises in the Geylang West Community Club (GWCC) located in Upper Boon Keng Road. With strong support from PA and GWCC, the Club has participated in annual competitions organised by the Singapore Contract Bridge Association (SCBA) and by the Chinese Swimming Club (CSC).
