We meet on Friday afternoon at Gerrards Cross Memorial Centre from 1.30pm until about 4.30pm.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly and accessible club and visitors are most welcome. We operate a host system so you can be sure of a game if you come without a partner.
Table money is £4 (£5 for non-members) including tea and biscuits.
We play computer generated hands, made up at the table and hand records are available to take away together with a detailed discussion of one hand.
We are pleased to be sponsored by Salisbury Financial Services of Gerrards Cross |

| Classes 2008/09 |
We all long for a partner who makes clear bids, is a brilliant declarer, a tiger in defence and yet is kind and understanding when we make that occasional error. Does such a shining example exist? If so, can I have their phone number!
In the absence of such a paragon, what we all need as bridge players are people with whom we can play. The saddest sight in the world is three bridge players looking for a fourth. So we are taking steps to ensure a healthy supply of players.
At Gerrards Cross we run a full programme of classes for beginners. We make sure learning goes forward in very easy stages so that each step is fun. So if any of your friends and relations are thinking of learning to play, point them in our direction.
For full details of classes for beginners at the Memorial Centre please go to the pages about classes. |

| Bridge the Gap |
Jean started The Garden Room Bridge Club over ten years ago as somewhere her students could play when starting out on their bridge careers. Over the years this has grown and become tremendously successful but in so doing has perhaps become somewhat less suitable for very inexperienced players.
The Tuesday afternoon session in the Garden Room at Gerrards Cross has been started to meet the needs of students and less experienced players. We play perhaps 14 or 15 hands with a good tea break. There will be lots of help available with the mechanics of moving and scoring and if you are really stuck you can ask for help with bidding and play!
Our Friday afternoon sessions continue unchanged. Friday afternoon members are most welcome to join us but must understand that the bridge will be geared to the needs of complete beginners.
Table money at this session is £5.
