Remember to uphold ACBL's Zero Tolerance policy.
The ACBL Convention Chart specifically prohibits “Conventions and/or agreements whose primary purpose is to destroy the opponents’ methods.” There are three excellent reasons for imposing concrete definitions on this activity. (1) Players who engage in wanton destructive bidding create a private understanding in their partnership. (2) Newer players easily get intimidated by such tactics and may decide to take up something else. (3) Thanks to concrete definitions, victims of destructive bidding can detect and report violations just by looking at the hand records after completion of play.
