It puts us in second place in the table.
Congratulations to all the team members.

Once again the reviving effect of coffee and biscuits restored Frome's fortunes in the second half and
we won the match by 16 points to 4.

| Frome in the Somerset League |
After waiting all season for a defeat, just like London buses, two come along together.
Our opposition on Friday 18th March was a strong team from Langport.
Included in their ranks was Lou Hobhouse the new editor of "English Bridge".
We conceded heavily in the first half and, although we "won" the second half, Langport ran out winners by 14VPs to 6VPs.

| Somerset County League |
In Division 2, Frome were undefeated and top of the table.
The latest round took place on the 19 of February.
What could possibly go wrong?
In a word, everything especially yours truly's contribution!
We were losing quite heavily at half time. However, the restorative powers of coffee and biscuits failed to work their magic.
Attempting to chase the game, we sank deeper into the mire and eventually lost 18-2.
Commiserations to my team mates for my poor judgement.
