| Improvers Lessons |
Our first sessions of Improvers Lessons commence on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th October. These initial courses will run for 8 weeks and will last from 2pm till 4pm at Henleaze Bowling Club, 28 Grange Court Road, BS9 4DR. The format will be short teaching sessions followed by the oportunity to practise what has been learnt with pre-prepared hands.
The course cost will be £8 per session or £55 for the 8 weeks if paid in advance.
Course will include
- Red Suit Transfers and Subsequent Auction
- Weak 2s and How to Defend Against Them
- Bidding Strong Balanced Hands
- Bidding Strong Unbalanced Hands
- Defence including Leads and Signals
- Competitive Bidding including Doubles and Unassuming Cue Bids
Each session will include prepared hands to practise the given topic
