In fabulous sunshine and with the course in great condition we held our Golf Bridge Day on Monday on the Bernard Hunt course. The team of Paul Searle, Lynda Tipping and Sophie Spring won with 73 points from Gordon Phillips, Ann Hyde and Gill Peters also with 73 points: John Homewood with David Truslove and dawn bailey were third also with 73.

The winner of the golf was John Homewood with 40points: he also won the east west bridge and just held off the challenge from Linda Anderson, who with her partner Paul Searle produced a fantastic 72%+ result at bridge.John is the overall winner for the first time.

There were ten full tables for bridge, with prizes for the top three pairs.
